Ok so I know how to pronounce hors d'oeuvres. I do. I really do.
But I wanted to surprise Warren by ordering in something fancy for our stay-at-home NYE (he doesn't like my mac and cheese appetizers for some reason, HIS LOSS) and I panicked reading the online menu while I called in my order and called them whores d'oeuvres by mistake and the operator was too kind to correct me (it does cost a lot but Warren insists we order from them) so we had a five plus minute discussion about what kinda whores d'oeuvres I wanted to order and just -
Anyway, whores d'oeuvres it is tonight. Sorry to ruin the surprise, dear.
